The Military Law and Life Matters Podcast, hosted by Ferah Ozbek, Esq (Colonel, USAF, Ret.)

Have you ever been accused of misconduct that had no basis? Have you ever been under investigation or faced court-martial charges? What about having a spouse file for divorce while you’re deployed? Perhaps you have been discharged unfairly and now you want to correct the characterization. Or you are a reservist and your civilian employer terminates you because of a deployment.

When not handled properly, these matters can have a devastating impact on your future. It’s critical to know how to protect yourself, be proactive, and attack legal issues correctly and intelligently from the start.

You need to know how to fight injustice.

Too often the people who serve our country are victims of a confusing, complex legal system. Military Law is a specific area of legal study that few understand and even fewer can explain. The Military Law and Life Matters Podcast aims to arm the military community with knowledge so that our nation’s heroes know their rights and can live and work in the manner they deserve.

Hosted by Ferah Ozbek, the Military Law and Life Matters Podcast will dive deep into military law topics ranging from military criminal law to civil suits, from divorce and military pensions to estate planning and how to correct errors in your official records. We face issues that specifically and directly impact members of the military and their families — head-on and straightforward.

The goal of each episode is for the listener to feel armed with knowledge, know their rights, and have resources to get the help they need.
